Netsign Digital Signage - How it Works

How it works

The Netsign content player allows you to split any display device image into a number of zones allowing you deliver targeted information to any of the zones at any time of the day, month or year. A typical example of a digital signage output is displayed below:-

As detailed in other pages of the website, all of the Netsign Content Players have a built in web server. The webserver is accessible from any computer that has access to the network it sits on. Once logged in the webserver software allows users with the correct credentials to edit and configure the display output. All of the layouts, images, media, playlists, and schedules etc are edited in this manner. There is no special software or dedicated PC's required.

The system also has multiuser access with ability to limit some functions or zones to specific users. For example you may wish a receptionist to have access to a welcome zone on the screen for inputting visitor information, but do not want to allow the receptionist complete access to the schedules and layouts etc. There are many examples where this funcionality is required, canteen menus, department information zones. None of these additional users would require specifc software or dedicated computer, just a computer that has a browser and access to your network.
